ZEISS is seeking a QA/QC Leader to direct the site QC team in a medical device manufacturing environment. You will supervise quality inspectors, train staff, and ensure processes align with GMP and line clearance requirements while maintaining 5S standards.
You will optimize production through Just In Time and First In First Out practices, evaluate data, resolve issues, and collaborate with planning, quality, and engineering teams to uphold product quality and regulatory compliance.

Lead a department in a medical device manufacturing environment and ensure the highest level of production quality, efficiency, and output.
High School diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of manufacturing experience in the medical device or similar industry. Experience with LEAN manufacturing principles. Prefer experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines Proficient computer knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Outlook, Excel, Word. Ability to effectively communicate with others within and outside the organization (i.e. management, supervisors, coworkers, inspectors and auditors from various governing bodies, such as FDA auditors).
