Job summary

The Recruiting Pros is seeking a Quality Control Manager for an on-site role in Austell, GA. You will lead QA initiatives across US and international facilities, ensuring product specifications are met and quality processes are robust.

Responsibilities include documentation control, KPI development, audits, and cross-functional collaboration with operations and sales. Travel 1–2 times yearly; immediate, permanent position.

Qualifications

  • Degree in a quality assurance related field, i.e. quality, mechanical or industrial engineering.
  • 5+ years experience managing quality assurance in a manufacturing or finished goods environment.
  • 2+ years in a management role.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with Adobe Photo Deluxe and MS Office Picture Manager considered a strong plus.
  • Experience with NetSuite, AS400, A+ and/or WMS considered a strong plus.
  • Understanding of various field concepts, practices and manufacturing processes related to quality assurance.
  • Excellent organization, time management, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong teamplayer with the ability to successfully balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Manage the creation, control and distribution of all company quality documents; coordinate and communicate quality related correspondence with stakeholders.
  • Develop, implement, and integrate a comprehensive quality assurance manual of control.
  • Develop KPIs for quality and establish standards for the organization.
  • Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system and implement improvements.
  • Lead and facilitate all quality management meetings; verify and communicate requirements.
  • Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of company management.
  • Maintain and log all first article and quality control samples in QC area.
  • Coordinate all QA/QC SKU compliance activities; monitor and manage non-conformance reports.
  • Document, respond to and close all customer complaints.
  • Maintain control of all documentation related to new products/projects; monitor and report on all quality activities.
  • Review and record all supplier material certificates.

Job Description

Quality Control Manager

Pay: $95k -$110k

Our team at The Recruiting Pros isconducting a high-priority search for a talented Quality Control Manager onbehalf of a wholesaler/distributor of consumer products located in Austell,GA.The company is innovative, growing, andfilled with smart, collaborative people.

In this hands-on role you will be responsible for developing,implementing and maintaining the company’s quality control/assurance managementsystem ensuring that product specifications are followed by each of the US productionfacilities and manufacturing sites around the world, including Asia and India. Youwill work closely with executives and leaders in business operations,communicating and reporting on results, issues and recommendations to improve qualitycontrol methods and procedures.

This is an immediate, full-time, permanent position andwill require you to work onsite in Austell and travel overseas 1 to 2 times peryear.

Routine responsibilities will require you to:
