Elevate Aircraft Seating LLC in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking a skilled Quality Control Line Inspector to join our on-site team. You will interpret engineering data, read blueprints, and inspect using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure final and first article compliance.

You will document findings and assist in corrective actions to maintain quality standards. The role requires a high school diploma and prefers an associate degree or technical certification.

We are looking for a skilled Quality Control Line Inspector to join our team in Huntington Beach, CA. This is an on-site position based in Huntington Beach, CA. Export Control Requirements

This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.

• 120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Job Summary

To interpret engineering data such as drawings and specifications and inspect in accordance with the data. Must be able to use standard measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, dial indicators etc. Perform visual and dimensional inspections for final and first article inspections on aviation parts from details to top assemblies. Must be able to understand visual and cosmetic standards. Must have the ability to clearly write nonconformance reports and assist in corrective actions investigations.

SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES

• Interpret engineering data such as drawings and specifications
• Competent in using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, indicators
• Perform visual and dimensional inspection
• Perform in-process, final, and first article inspections, including writing FAI documentation (bubble drawings, Forms1, 2 and 3)
• Perform inspections to visual and cosmetic standards
• Able to write inspection reports and nonconformance reports
• Able to understand root cause and participate in corrective actions
• Perform review of supplier certifications for conformance to requirements
• Data collection for statistical analysis
• Must understand and be able to interpret tolerances
• Understand application and use of all types of precision measuring instruments used in mechanical inspection, including interpretations of geometrical and positional tolerance requirements
• Travel as required to support suppliers or source/auditing inspection program

Education

• A High School Diploma is required.
• A two-year college (Associate Degree), Trade/Technical School or certification is desired.

Experience

• Position may be filled with both entry level and experienced candidates.

Compensation & Benefits

Elevate Aircraft Seating offers competitive wages and benefits to recognize employees for their work. The base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.

Hourly Rate Transparency: $25 - $27 per hour
