Job summary

Ecobat in City of Industry, CA is seeking a Quality Control Manager to supervise analysis of in-process and finished products and ensure ISO 9001 compliance. You will lead a laboratory team and maintain the Quality System while coordinating with production schedules and sales.

The role requires a 4-year Chemistry degree (or equivalent), 2+ years of science college, and 2–5 years of managerial experience, with strong English communication skills and a focus on quality improvement.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Chemistry or equivalent.
• 2 years college with Science and Math.
• 2-5 years managerial experience.
• ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 45001 awareness preferred.
• Good oral and written communication skills (English).

Responsibilities

• Manage, train, develop and mentor the laboratory staff.
• Responsible for the Plant’s Quality System.
• Develop and maintain laboratory Standard Operating Procedures and Standard Working Instructions.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Communicates with Corporate Sales to prepare the refinery casting schedule.
• Coordinates the refinery production.
• Evaluate, audit and provide servicing of critical lab test equipment.
• Responsible for analytical instrumentation calibration and maintenance.
• Implement and monitor the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.
• Represents the Company as the ISO 9001:2015 Standard Management Representative.
• Responsible for chemical analysis of various process samples, TCLP, Lead, wastewater, slag, dross, etc.
• Develop laboratory reports and data forms; maintain SAP receipts and product specs.
• Manage budget planning and budget reporting.
