Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Quality Control Lead to perform routine tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products in an industrial manufacturing setting. The role includes supervising a small team and coordinating with state and industry bodies.

The ideal candidate has quality control experience in the concrete infrastructure sector, with ACI/PCI certification or the ability to obtain it within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Quality control experience in related industry.
• ACI/PCI Certification preferred or must pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 months.
• Basic computer and tablet skills.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens.
• Monitor production operations as required.
• Patch pipes and assist pipe crew with strip, setup, and pouring of products.
• Report to management on process improvements, repetitive mistakes, and quality concerns.
• Oversee team of 3-4 individuals.
• Receive and file raw material reports for documentation.
• Serve as contact for State DOT agencies, ACI, NPCA.

Job Responsibilities

Pipe patching andassisting pipe crew when necessary with strip, setup, and pouring of products

Report to management team on process improvements, repetitive mistakes, and quality concerns

Oversee team of 3-4 individuals

Responsible for receiving and filing raw material reports for documentation

Contact for State DOT agencies, ACI, NPCA

Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
