Job summary

Lhoist North America is seeking a Lab/QC Technician to execute quality testing of plant production, analyze raw materials, and ensure adherence to SQF and NSF/ANSI 60 standards. You will collaborate with plant management to maintain product quality and regulatory compliance in a lime/mineral environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining lab safety, documenting results, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives while contributing to overall plant operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; chemistry degree preferred.
• 1+ year of quality or laboratory experience preferred.
• Experience with QA/QC protocols and data reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead laboratory safety and regulatory compliance programs.
• Perform day-to-day quality testing of production processes and raw materials.
• Document, interpret and communicate analysis results to support product quality.
• Maintain lab equipment, solutions, and inventory; coordinate repairs as needed.
• Support cost control, quality reporting, and SQF/NSF 60 compliance.
