Job summary

bioMérieux is offering a Co-Op position in Pennsylvania to assist with QC testing of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products. You will work under supervision of senior QC Technicians to ensure compliant products are released to customers.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and active enrollment in a higher-education program, with preferred majors in Biomedical fields or related sciences. Approximate 40 hours per week; wage is $18.00/hour with bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist QC testing of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products.
• Report nonconforming results to senior staff and assist investigations.
• Enter QC data, document results, and finalize batch records.
• Maintain consumables and samples in the QC lab.
• Assist QA with maintenance of documents and controlled documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of specifications and procedures
