Job summary

Fareva in Richmond, VA is seeking a QC Associate for the Raw Materials Lab. You will perform chemical and physical assays on raw materials and production intermediates, compare results to specifications, and document findings under GMP guidelines.

Ideal candidates hold a BS or MS in Chemistry or Biochemistry with 0–1 year of QA experience, familiarity with LIMS, and the ability to follow SOPs. We offer competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry; 0–1 year of relevant QA experience.
• MS degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry; 0–1 year of relevant QA experience.
• Requires basic knowledge of fundamental quality concepts and cGMPs.
• Desirable: experience with LIMS and electronic documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical or physical assays of raw materials, production intermediates and bulk samples.
• Analyze results, record observations and ensure accuracy and validity of test results.
• Use LIMS and SOPs to manage data and resolve technical issues.
• Schedule daily lab assignments and maintain related records and site housekeeping.
• Follow SOPs and applicable regulations to ensure compliant testing and documentation.
