Job summary

Astrix Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Lab Analyst in Cincinnati to join a hands-on quality laboratory team.

You will perform bench testing, calibrate equipment, document results, and help ensure materials and products meet quality standards in a regulated manufacturing environment with strong benefits and growth opportunities. This contract-to-permanent role offers two shift options and competitive pay of $23–$26.50 per hour plus differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate or Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science or related science preferred.
• Hands-on laboratory experience preferred.
• Able to work in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory testing and analysis to verify materials and products meet established quality specifications.
• Conduct bench testing using approved laboratory procedures and methods.
• Accurately record, review, and enter laboratory results into systems and documentation.
• Recognize results outside specifications and escalate to quality personnel.
• Perform routine calibration and upkeep of laboratory equipment.

Quality Control Lab Analyst (QC) Daily Tasks: What you will do:

• Perform routine laboratory testing and analysis to verify materials and products meet established quality specifications.
• Conduct bench testing using approved laboratory procedures and testing methods.
• Accurately record, review, and enter laboratory test results into applicable systems and documentation.
• Recognize results or materials that fall outside established specifications and **escalate** issues to appropriate quality personnel.
• Perform routine calibration and basic upkeep of laboratory equipment.

Quality Control Lab Analyst (QC) Qualifications/Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Science, or another scientific discipline preferred.
• Previous laboratory, quality control, manufacturing, or related technical experience preferred.
• Comfortable performing hands-on testing and working with laboratory equipment.
• Must not have food allergies due to the nature of the laboratory environment and testing performed
