  • Integrity in how we work and make decisions
  • Safety as a top priority in every role
  • Hands‑on learning through real projects, not just observation
  • Professional growth through mentorship and guidance
  • Teamwork in an environment where people support each other

If you’re curious about how materials are made, tested, and used in real construction projects, this internship gives you an inside look.

About the Role

We’re hiring a Quality Control Intern to support our concrete quality control operations at plants and job sites. This role is ideal for students interested in construction, engineering, materials science, or applied sciences who want practical, real‑world experience.

What You’ll Do
  • Assist with sampling and testing concrete in both plant and field environments
  • Learn how quality standards are applied in real construction projects
  • Help document and track testing results and observations
  • Work alongside experienced quality control and operations professionals
  • Observe how concrete production, delivery, and testing work together
  • Identify and report irregularities or quality concerns with guidance from mentors
  • Participate in safety meetings and hands‑on training
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Perform additional tasks that help you learn the full quality control process
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to safely navigate job sites, plants, and facilities
  • Flexibility with hours as needed for plant or project schedules
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent (or currently enrolled in college)
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
  • Interest in quality control, construction materials, engineering, or related fields
  • Willingness to learn and try new things
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate and work well with others
  • A positive attitude and commitment to safety
What You’ll Gain
  • Hands‑on industry experience in quality control and concrete operations
  • Mentorship from experienced professionals in the field
  • Real‑world problem‑solving skills you can’t learn in a classroom
  • Networking opportunities across operations, quality, and production teams
  • A stronger resume with practical construction and materials experience

If you’re ready to step outside the classroom and gain real experience that sets you apart, we encourage you to apply!
