Job summary

FOX Factory, Inc. in Trussville, AL is seeking a Quality Control Inspector (Production) to inspect finished products, materials and assemblies for conformance to standards. You will perform sampling, record results and report deviations.

The role requires 2+ years in quality/inventory, GD&T experience, and familiarity with Oracle or SAP; strong data entry, organization and problem-solving are essential. This is a full-time manufacturing role with safety and audits.

Qualifications

  • Education: HS graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2+ years in quality and/or inventory roles.
  • GD&T knowledge or prior GD&T experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Oracle, SAP or other database systems.

Responsibilities

  • Inspects finished products, materials and assemblies for conformance to standards.
  • Checks randomly selected samples and verifies equipment/process accuracy.
  • Reports conditions requiring repair and documents results of inspections.
  • Conducts product and process audits and layered process audits (LPA).
  • Keeps records and uses data to plan and achieve quality goals.
  • May obtain samples for laboratory analysis and assess deviations.

We look forward to hearing from you!**Position Summary:**Inspects finished products, products being processed, incoming materials, parts and assemblies, etc. for conformance to company standards.**Position Responsibilities:*** Checks randomly selected samples and verifies accuracy of equipment or process.* Reports conditions requiring immediate repair.* Uses advanced inspection methods to develop and conduct quality programs.* Works under general supervision.* Keeps records and makes reports indicating results of inspections.* Uses experience and judgment for planning and accomplishing goals.* May inspect work areas to detect unsafe conditions.* May obtain samples to conduct studies in laboratory analysis and determines measures to be taken to remedy deviations from standards.* Conduct Product and Process audits and LPA (Layered process audits).**Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:*** Strong and accurate data entry skills* Intermediate skills in using Microsoft tools (Outlook, Word, Excel)* Excellent organization skills* Excellent problem-solving skills.* Self-motivated – able to work with minimal supervision**Position Qualifications:****Education:**HS graduate or equivalent**Experience:**2+ years of experience in quality and/or inventory requiredPrevious experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)Previous experience with Oracle, SAP or other database management systems**Work Environment and Physical Requirements:**Manufacturing EnvironmentLift up to 50 lbs. regularlyRequires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of timeVision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer***Disclaimer****: This list does not represent all physical demands.
