Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years experience as a Quality Inspector or in a similar role.
• Experience within a manufacturing shop environment preferred.
• Forklift certification a plus; training available.
• Strong knowledge of inspection tools and instruments.
• Familiarity with QHSE policies and procedures.
• Ability to interpret product drawings.
• Willingness to work overtime as production schedules demand.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and specifications for product quality.
• Use ERP software to track inbound materials and inspections.
• Perform quality inspections of receipts according to procedures.
• Track and update status of certified material in ERP system.
• Communicate findings with team to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain documentation of certified material with tagging system.
• Meet department goals through accurate and efficient work.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and workspace remains organized.
• Capture labor hours accurately in Epicor.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
