Job summary

American Textile Company is seeking a Quality Control Technician I to inspect inbound/outbound raw materials and finished goods for compliance with quality standards and customer specs. This role emphasizes attention to detail, accurate data entry, and communication with production teams.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least one year in quality control, and basic computer skills. Experience with AS-400/Logimax/Frontier is a plus, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of quality control experience is required; textile experience is a plus.
• Experience with AS-400, Logimax and Frontier systems is a plus.
• Demonstrates problem solving, attention to detail, and strong communication.
• Basic math skills and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Follow sampling plans using variable and sequential sampling for finished goods.
• Input sampling data into the company database and prepare reports.
• Ensure orders meet customer specifications and requirements.
• Track finished products for delivery and adjust inventory in the database.
• Inspect inbound/outbound products and raw materials from international vendors against specs.
• Assist with resolving issues as needed.
• Inspect packaging components against item specifications.
• Update inbound inspection tracking spreadsheet daily.
• Communicate audit results to management in case of non-conformance.
• Record packaging inspections with pass/fail data and related quantities.
