Job summary

SSI SCHÄFER in Wisconsin seeks a Quality Control Inspector for a 1099 contract. You will perform high-volume pre-shipment inspections of consumer goods, packaging, paper, printing products, and luxury bags, applying ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2008 AQL standards and accurate defect classification.

Responsibilities include hands-on testing, detailed report writing with photographic documentation, and professional communication with clients and suppliers.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of QA/QC experience
• 2–3+ years of pre-shipment inspection experience
• Knowledge of ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 AQL sampling standards and defect classification
• Experience with dimensional, functional, barcode, rub, odor, weight, carton stacking, and drop testing
• Ability to generate inspection reports with photographic documentation

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume pre-shipment inspections of consumer goods, packaging, paper, printing products, and luxury bags
• Conduct hands-on product testing and defect classification
• Write detailed inspection reports with photographic evidence
• Communicate findings professionally with clients and suppliers
• Identify quality risks and opportunities for improvement
• Travel within Mt Pleasant, WI and nearby areas as required
