Job summary

Anchor Glass Container LLC in Shakopee, MN is seeking an Inspector for Quality Control to gauge set outs from lehr and inspect packed ware to ensure they meet the specified AQL level. You will locate and hold pallets that do not meet criteria and be responsible for all quality aspects of the assigned service line.

This role requires previous quality inspector experience, and involves a swing/rotating shift schedule: 8am-4pm, 12mid-8am, and 4pm-12mid shift in a cycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience as a quality inspector.
• Ability to perform AQL level checks on glass products.
• Familiar with gauge checks and safety practices.
• Experience with packaging and packing line processes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect glass from lehr and packed ware for AQL compliance.
• Record 48+ samples per hour in Packed Ware Report.
• Identify pallets not meeting criteria and hold for reselection.
• Check seals and cases and perform required tests.
• Ensure housekeeping and safety adherence.
