Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficient with drawing/blue print reading and interpretation (including GD&T).
• Familiar with geometry/trigonometry principles.
• Proficient with basic fabrication shop math.
• Proficient with basic quality control and statistical methods and tools.
• Proficient with measuring devices, including calipers, height gages, CMM, micrometers, etc.

Responsibilities

• Regularly measures and monitors quality and requests disposition of materials and/or corrective action as needed.
• Process customer's complaints and returns as required by company procedures and/or direction of Quality Manager.
• Daily input of inspection QC data.
• Jointly responsible for on-time delivery of products.
• Determine correct and appropriate use inspection tools.
• Inspect large and small items in a safe, practical and efficient manner.
• Inspection consists of assemblies, machined parts, pipe spools and similar products.
• Effectively use MS Office applications to increase productivity and complete tasks in a professional presentation.
• Contribute to the protection of the environment and the health and safety of our employees, customers and neighbors.
• Responsible for maintaining and continuously improving our Environment Management System (EMS).
