Job summary

UFP Industries’ Newnan, GA facility is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to measure and visually inspect materials to meet internal and external quality requirements. Using prints, checklists, and measuring devices, you’ll follow established guidelines under supervision.

You will record measurements, verify tolerances, stop processes when nonconformances occur, assist in investigations, and prepare reports documenting quality issues and corrective actions in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of management or quality assurance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Records measurements and other critical data.
• Identifies tolerances according to prints and documents.
• Stops production or operations when nonconformances are found and notifies proper personnel.
• Assists in investigations of quality issues and ensures corrective actions.
• Prepares reports and correspondence as required.
• Performs other duties as required.
