Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years use of measuring tools.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiar with solder, PCB, hybrid electronics and final assemblies.
• Certifications: J-STD-001, Space Addendum or IPC-A-610.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts during receipt, in-process and final inspection and communicate errors to supervisor.
• Interpret basic GD&T (blueprint reading).
• Perform mechanical/dimensional inspection of diverse product lines.
• Review/audit required documentation: CoC, CoA, FAIR.
• Write DMRs and coordinate RTV Tracker (Return to Vendor).
• Use measuring/monitoring equipment (calipers, height gauges, pin gauges, verniers).
• Review Certificates of Conformance, Purchase Orders and Test documents for accuracy.
• Data entry and inspection record tracking using basic computer skills.

This involves inspecting parts during receipt of material, in-process and final inspection, communicating errors, and recording test data. The Quality Inspector lends strong attention to detail to support the mechanical/dimensional and visual inspection of finished goods and supplier parts.

This involves inspecting parts during receipt of material, in-process and final inspection, communicating errors, and recording test data. The Quality Inspector lends strong attention to detail to support the mechanical/dimensional and visual inspection of finished goods and supplier parts.

Compensation

$32.30 Per Hour

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts during receipt of material, in-process and final inspection and proactively communicate errors and systemic trends to the supervisor
• Understand and interpret of basic GD&T (blueprint reading)
• Mechanical/dimensional inspection of a diverse product lines
• Review/audit of required documentation: CoC, CoA, FAIR
• Write DMRs (Defective Material Reports) as needed and coordinates RTV Tracker (Return to Vendor)
• Use measuring and monitoring equipment (calipers, height gages, pin gages, vernier’s, etc.)
• Review of COCs (Certificates of Conformance), Purchase Orders and Test documents to ensure completion accuracy
• Utilize basic computer skills for data entry, documentation review, and inspection record tracking.

Qualifications

• 2 years use of measuring tools: Micrometers, Microscopes, and height gauges
• Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiar with inspection of solder, printed circuit, hybrid electronics and final assemblies.
• Certified in J-STD-001 and Space Addendum, or IPC-A-610.

• This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.
• Hourly Rate: $32.30. This is a union position.
