Eaton's IS AER MSD division in Manhattan, KS is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for 1st shift to perform receiving, in-process and final inspections of components and sub-assemblies. You will use gauges, a coordinate measuring machine and vision systems to verify specifications and report findings to supervision.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and meticulous attention to detail. You must document inspection results, maintain quality records and uphold safety standards

Eaton’s IS AER MSD division is currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector - 1st Shift. This position is located at our Manhattan, KS facility. This site has approximately 65 employees and is a leader in commercial and military aircraft systems and components. The ideal candidate will be detailed-oriented, reliable, and committed to quality work.Hours for this position are typically Monday – Friday; 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with occasional mandatory overtime.The hourly rate for this position is $19.48 per hour.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:This role reports to the Quality Manager and is responsible for performing receiving, in-process and/or final inspections of component parts, assemblies and sub-assemblies as required.In this function you will:• Inspect products using gauges, coordinate measuring machine, scales, and vision.• Approve in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement inspections; and communicating findings to supervisor.• Approve finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; and confirming re-work.• Document inspection results by completing checklists, reports, and logs; summarizing re-work and scrap; inputting data into quality database.• Verify quality documentation for completeness and accuracy.• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.Qualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:• High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
