Job summary

Enovis in Vista, CA is hiring a Quality Control Inspector to perform and document verification inspections at various production stages. You will support NPI projects, product transfers, and maintain compliant quality records.

Minimum 2–4 years in a regulated manufacturing setting, with GD&T and use of precision inspection tools. This role emphasizes collaboration with Quality Engineers and cross-functional teams to ensure product conformity and strong documentation practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or a related technical discipline preferred.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of Quality Control, Inspection, Quality Assurance, or Manufacturing Quality experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device preferred).
• Working knowledge of Quality Management System requirements, including ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820/QMSR, and applicable quality system regulations.
• Demonstrated experience performing incoming, in-process, final, and first article inspections.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and inspection criteria, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Proficiency with common inspection and test equipment, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, comparators, pin gauges, and other precision measurement tools.
• Working knowledge of nonconformance management, root cause investigation techniques, corrective actions, and supplier quality processes.
• Experience utilizing ERP and electronic quality management systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Agile, NetSuite, ETQ, MasterControl, or equivalent).
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly document inspection results, nonconformances, and investigation findings.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize multiple assignments, and make sound quality-related decisions within established procedures.

Responsibilities

Quality Control Inspector Reports To Sr Manager, Quality Assurance Location: Vista, CA Business Unit Description Bracing and Supports Role Summary

Key Responsibilities
