Job summary

The Local Manufacturer is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector II/III to join the quality team in Tempe, AZ. You will perform receiving, first article, in-process, and final inspections and program Zeiss CMMs to verify complex parts.

You will read engineering drawings, apply GD&T and tolerance requirements, and inspect parts with micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and thread gauges. Documentation and calibration record maintenance are also required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of mechan‑ical inspection experience in precision environments.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills with tolerance interpretation.
• Hands-on experience operating and programming Zeiss CMMs.
• Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards.

What we’re looking for

• 3–5 years of mechanical inspection experience in a precision machining or molding environment.
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T skills, including tolerance interpretation.
• Hands-on experience operating and programming Zeiss CMMs.
• Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

CMM Manager experience and ASQ or Six Sigma certifications are a plus.
