Job summary

Dongwon is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Register, GA on a full-time basis. The role covers mechanical, dimensional and visual inspections of parts, with emphasis on first article and finished components.

The candidate should have basic inspection experience, ability to read drawings and quality control docs, and maintain QC/QA records. Willingness to learn company procedures and work with the production team is required.

Qualifications

• One (1) year experience as quality inspector. Helpful, but can be trained.
• Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, shop routers, manufacturing specifications and quality control documents.
• Create, organize and maintain QC/QA documentation.
• Knowledge of the Dongwon’s policies and procedures.
• Skill in prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to identify and propose solutions to problems.
• Ability to work with co-workers and Dongwon employees.

Salary Range: $16.00 To $16.50 Hourly

Summary: Under general direction, performs a variety of mechanical, dimensional and visual inspections of incoming and manufactured parts and components.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Conduct inspections and evaluations as certified and required.
• Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, shop routers, manufacturing specifications and quality control documents.
• Create, organize and maintain QC/QA documentation.
• Knowledge of the Dongwon’s policies and procedures.
• Skill in assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks and demands.
• Skill in working within deadlines to complete projects and assignments.
• Skill in identifying and recommending solutions to problems.
• Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with co-workers and other Dongwon employees.

Education, Experience, Certifications and Licenses:

• One (1) year experience as quality inspector. Helpful, but can be trained.

Environmental Factors and Conditions/Physical Requirements:

• May be required to lift items weighing up to 5 to 10 pounds.
• May be required to push or pull items weighing up 20 to 30 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for a long period of time .
• Must be able to do some bending and stretching when need.
