The Quality Control Inspector oversees the Quality Control Program for the HVAC Mechanics and enforces adherence to the ISO standards and procedures. Assigned to the development, administration, and daily functions of the quality control program, this position shall be fully trained in their areas of responsibility including – instruction and procedure development; product quality monitoring; inspection techniques; and inspection data management and analysis.
Essential Job Functions
- Quality management plans and supporting documentation to ensure that HVAC projects are being built safely on budget, on schedule, within scope, and in conformance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
- Administering the Quality Assurance Program throughout the contract for HVAC specific work order tickets.
- Assigned to the development, administration, and daily functions of the Quality Assurance Program, shall be fully trained in their areas of responsibility which may include: instruction and procedure development; product quality monitoring; inspection techniques; and inspection data management and analysis.
- Oversees and can authorize the procurement of project safety supplies and equipment and is responsible for the implementation of the site safety training of employees and subcontractor safety training.
- Submit daily field notes recording activities at each project site; prepare and coordinate material submittal sheets and shop drawing submittals; and prepare quality control reports.
- Establish and maintain quality standards for services rendered.
