Job summary

Trace Inc. is hiring a Full-Time Quality Control Inspector for the Pearl Harbor Commissary in Honolulu. The role focuses on inspecting and documenting the quality of nightly stocking and custodian performance to meet contract requirements.

You will communicate results and recommend corrective actions while coordinating with leadership to ensure standards are met. The position requires strong reading/comprehension, clear communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Inspect nightly stocking and custodian performance to ensure contract quality.
• Document and communicate inspection results.
• Identify problem areas and provide corrective action suggestions.
• Interface with Project Manager, Regional Director and VP to ensure quality deficiencies are corrected.
• Monitor and document activities affecting Trace employees' quality and production standards.
• Manage and monitor product expiration dates.
• Enter site data into attendance tracking software Time Keeper and Time-Trex.

Pearl Harbor Commissary

Position: Quality Control Inspector Salary: $20.75/Hour

Job Overview

Trace Inc. is a Military Contractor and has been in business since 1993. We are currently located on 19 different Military Bases throughout the nation.

In addition to being a Non- Profit Organization we are also an Ability One Contractor. We specialize in hiring and training individuals with disabilities to include Veterans and Civilians. Please note a Disability is not required.

Trace is excited to announce that our company is growing. Our Military Commissary Contracts are expanding and we looking to hire a Full Time Quality Control Inspector to join our team. We are looking to hire an individual to inspect and document the quality of Stocker and Custodian performance out at Pearl Harbor Commissary. The individual must be disciplined and have an eye for quality.

This is a full time position. The schedule is 5 days/week. The shift is 11:00PM to 7:00AM Note: These times and days may change based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect Nightly Stocking and Custodian performance to ensure the quality of work is in alignment with the contract requirements.
• Document and communicate the results of inspections.
• Identify problem areas and provide suggestions for corrective actions.
• Interface with Project Manager, Regional Director and VP to ensure any quality deficiency is corrected.
• Monitor and document, all activity that affects Trace’s employee’s ability to meet and exceed quality and production standards.
• Manage and monitor the product expiration dates.
• Manage and enter site data into employee attendance tracking software, Time Keeper and Time-Trex.

Qualifications

• Must have strong reading and comprehension.
• Must have ability to clearly communicate issues both verbally and written, via email.
• Proficient in computer word processing and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong regard for quality assurance.
• Experience in Grocery and or Retail.
• Excellent documenting and reporting skills.
• Good team player who can work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Must have excellent Time Management skills.
