Qualifications

• Associate Degree in a technical discipline.
• At least 1 year on HP Quality Center or ClearQuest.
• Experience with NDC, DDC, or Wincor applications is a plus.
• 1-2+ years QA experience with test infrastructure or other hardware development.
• Practical working knowledge of hardware testing methodology.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong analytical ability.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Thorough understanding of testing methodologies and processes.
• The candidate must have previous experience inQuality inspecting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect output samples using industry-appropriate methods and compare to standards.
• Check that the assembly/production line adheres to standards and procedures.
• Record inspection results by completing reports and inputting data into the quality database.
• Communicate QC measures to the production team to improve product quality.
• Propose improvements to the production process.
• Update job knowledge through education and regular training.
• Keep measurement equipment calibrated and ready, arranging repairs when needed.

Job Summary

The Quality Control Inspector, (also referred to as the Quality Assurance Inspector), is responsible for ensuring that products meet Hyosung’s stringent set of quality standards. Their duties include examining shipments of inventory and raw goods, measuring the specifications of random items in each production run and training team members to refine production quality.

Essential Functions

• The Quality Control Inspector performs assessment, documentation and organization tasks to support the efficiency and effectiveness of their organization’s supply chain. Their duties and responsibilities include:
• Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions and examining functionality
• Checking that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures and complying with legal requirements
• Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing re-works and inputting data into quality database
• Communicating the production team on quality control measures to improve product excellence
• Proposing improvements to the production process
• Updating job knowledge by engaging in educational opportunities and regular training
• Keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs

Education And Experience

• Associate Degree in a technical discipline
• 1+ years on problem report tracking software (HP Quality Center or ClearQuest)
• Previous experience with NDC, DDC, or Wincor applications a plus
• 1-2+ years of QA experience with test infrastructure or other relevant hardware development
• Practical working knowledge of hardware testing methodology
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Exceptional analytic and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability and willingness to learn and understand the business and culture
• Thorough understanding of testing methodologies and processes
• Ability to excel in a constantly changing environment
• The candidate must have previous experience in Quality inspecting
