Job summary

Waterworks in Brookfield, CT is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to uphold our high standards in luxury plumbing and furnishings. This on-site role supports our made-to-order program and outsourced finishing processes.

You will develop QC processes, evaluate product quality, perform tests, and document issues. You’ll collaborate with Product Support, Development, Assembly, and suppliers to drive improvements and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of quality control experience in metal consumer products.

The Role

Join our Quality Team and help shape the high standards in luxury plumbing and furnishings. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and quality-driven Quality Control Inspector to ensure our products meet the exceptional standards our customers expect. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining the integrity of our made-to-order plumbing program and outsourced metal finishing and assembly processes.

This role is an on-site position based at our Distribution Center in Brookfield, CT working in a warehousing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain quality control processes that align with Waterworks’ high standards and company-wide practices.
  • Evaluate the aesthetic and functional quality of our plumbing and furnishings to ensure they meet design and performance expectations.
  • Conduct tests and inspections, identify imperfections, and collaborate on solutions to continuously improve product quality.
  • Work closely with Product Support, Product Development, Assembly, and external suppliers to uphold quality expectations.
  • Maintain detailed records of quality issues and resolutions, contributing to ongoing process improvements.
  • Communicate findings and insights that help shape product development and supplier performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 2+ years prior experience in Quality Control for consumer product manufacturer dealing with metals
  • Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment desirable
  • Demonstrated exceptional oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; the ability to manage data in Excel a plus
  • Experience with quality system audits
  • Demonstrates a passion and a responsibility for consumer satisfaction
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to continually embrace personal and professional development
