Job summary

Enpro Inc. seeks a QC Inspector to check parts against blueprint specifications under limited supervision and maintain inspection documentation, with reports prepared for review.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings for critical dimensions, verifying parts with test equipment and applying GD&T standards, completing forms, and supporting calibration of equipment; team participation in in-process control and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years’ experience in Quality Inspection/basic metrology/mechanical inspection (physical measurement techniques).
• Reading blueprints and knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• Minimum High School diploma or GED required;
• 2+ years’ experience in Quality Inspection/basic metrology/mechanical inspection (physical measurement techniques), reading blueprints, knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)

Preferred Skills

• Basic computer skills including the use of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word and database applications (data entry not programming).
• Competency in the use of measuring equipment, comparators, micrometers, and calipers.
• Experience with CMM inspection equipment such as a Zeiss, Global Hexagon CMM and PC-DIMS. Calypso and CAM2 Software programming experience a plus.
