Job summary

Environmental Air Systems, Inc. is hiring a Quality Control Inspector to join the manufacturing team in Asheboro, NC. The role focuses on inspections, testing, and process monitoring to ensure products meet engineering specs and quality standards.

You will verify tests, audit quality records, and coordinate with Project Managers for Factory Acceptance Tests. On-the-job training is provided and prior CWI/NDT certification is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• A.S. in Business Administration, Engineering, Welding, HVAC or other qualifying experience.
• Certified Welding Inspector or NDT Level II Visual Testing Certification is helpful but not required.
• Electrical and/or Mechanical Piping knowledge or experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Verify unit or product is manufactured per EAS and industry standards, and project documents.
• Perform equipment verification per approved submittal.
• Verify all product tests have been properly executed and test reports completed.
• Audit units and ensure quality checks, records and travelers are complete.
• Perform inspections of all units/assemblies and coordinate with Project Manager on Factory Acceptance Tests.
• Support vibration analysis and dynamic trim balancing on fans if applicable.
• Conduct welding inspections throughout production if certified.
• Verify construction against fabrication drawings and review pipe installations per P&ID.
• Coordinate with Production Designers to resolve issues and file project docs.
• Perform other manager-identified activities.

We are seeking a **Quality Control Inspector (QCI)** to join our Manufacturing team. In this role you will: Conduct various quality control functions to include inspections, testing and monitoring of processes to ensure the highest level of quality of all products. Compile reports regarding deviations from prescribed quality standards. Conduct inspections, verify purchased equipment, conduct tests and evaluate final products. Identify and reject any identified items that do not meet engineering specifications or established quality standards.
