Job summary

MWH Constructors is seeking an experienced Quality Control Engineer to support a multi-year, large-scale water treatment project outside Portland, OR. The role ensures compliance with MWH and client standards, coordinating QA across internal teams to deliver top-quality results.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least 3 years of inspection experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 3 years experience in inspection or construction.
• Knowledge of QC programs and ability to determine acceptability of work-based specifications.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand drawings and specs to ensure compliance.
• Monitor construction quality for QA system and support project staff.
• Assist teams with site quality plans and quality plan development.
• Coordinate, schedule, perform, and document quality inspections; verify compliance.
• Create piping and equipment testing plans.
• Provide quality guidance across project teams and troubleshoot issues.
• Report KPIs and support continuous quality improvement.
• Coordinate quality training and partnering efforts and stakeholder engagement.
• Promote safety and ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines.
