Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Engineer - New Graduate to perform quality inspections and help enhance SOPs while leading investigations. You will work with engineering and production to ensure products meet stringent standards and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes collaboration, continuous improvement, and training others on quality procedures, with national travel as needed and a focus on safety and accurate documentation.

Competenze

  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with practical experience using tools and machinery.
  • Welding experience highly preferred; must be capable of assessing weld quality.
  • Skilled in investigation techniques and writing clear, actionable quality reports.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights for inspections and quality checks.
  • Willingness to travel nationally to various job sites as needed.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise).
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination sufficient to operate tools accurately and safely.

Job Role: The Quality Control Engineer- New Graduate is responsible for conducting quality inspections, managing and enhancing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), leading quality investigations, and supporting improvement initiatives. Working closely with engineering and production teams, this role ensures our products meet rigorous internal standards and industry regulations.
Key Duties

  • Conduct detailed quality checks at all stages of fabrication.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Background in mechanical, electrical, or maintenance-related quality roles.
  • Knowledge of ammonia and CO₂ refrigeration systems and safety/environmental regulations.
  • Professional Engineering License.
