Motion Recruitment is seeking a Quality Control Engineer I in Houston to join a results-driven QA/QC team. The role emphasizes quality assurance, process improvement, testing, inspection, and rigorous reporting to uphold product standards.

You will collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to identify quality concerns, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions. This onsite position offers a 6–12 month contract with potential extension and a pay rate around $40/hr on

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with QA and QC processes.
• Knowledge of quality systems such as ANSI/ISO/ASQ 9001, SQF, ISO 14001, QS 9100.
• Experience with process control, testing, and inspection.
• Experience performing root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain quality requirements and standards for development.
• Serve as QA resource for problem identification, loss reporting, and continuous improvement.
• Support concurrent engineering by participating in design development projects.
• Design and implement methods for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection.
• Promote quality standards, inspection processes, test methodologies, quality plans, documents, and reports.
• Assist with process certification activities.
• Develop, execute, and analyze quality-reporting measures.
• Report on quality issues, trends, and losses.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Investigate root causes of quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Investigate product quality concerns and recommend improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
