Job summary

Catalent’s Madison, Wisconsin site is a state‑of‑the‑art biologics development and manufacturing facility. Senior Scientist I – Quality Control – Data Review will execute cGMP QC testing, review data, and support lab operations in a collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes data review, SOP maintenance, and adherence to GMP/GDP while training staff and coordinating tasks in the supervisor’s absence. Onsite at Madison, WI.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry or related life sciences.
• Master’s with 4+ years or Bachelor’s with 6+ years or Associate with 10+ years or HS Diploma with 11+ years in industry.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office proficiency preferred.
• Familiarity with EMPOWER software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review a variety of different tests.
• Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Perform monthly routine checks of logbooks within the lab.
• Ensure adherence to protocols and methods.
• Follow GMP and GDP requirements.
• Review analytical and microbiology data.
• Assist with training of junior staff.
• Help coordinate day-to-day tasks in the supervisor’s absence.
• All other duties as assigned.
