Ryobi Die Casting Inc USA in Shelbyville, IN is seeking a Quality Control Coordinator to collect and analyze parts data ensuring top-notch product quality for customers. Daily collaboration with PQE and site visibility are essential components of the role.

The position is non-exempt within the Quality department and involves site visits, data reporting, and coordination of sample runs, audits, and process changes to uphold Ryobi's standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of quality-related experience preferred.
• Basic statistical concepts knowledge required.
• Good communication skills essential.
• Proficient with a PC and related software.
• Ability to use micrometers and calipers.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze parts data to confirm product quality for the customer.
• Communicate with PQE daily and provide feedback.
• Keep daily journals and share with PQE during plant visits.
• Send product summary reports to PQE at set intervals.
• Continuously monitor Ryobi parts at customer locations.
• Complete the daily check sheet.
• Report product problems to PQE immediately.
• Coordinate sample runs and approvals for process changes.
• Contain abnormalities and suspect product.
• Supervise sort and rework campaigns.
• Stay available to the customer during special quality events.
• Represent Ryobi Die Casting at meetings when requested.
• Obey and enforce safety and conduct rules.
