Job summary

Sheffield Pharmaceuticals, the home of the original Sheffield Toothpaste, seeks a Quality Control Analyst to support QC analyses of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products in our New London, CT facility. Under supervision, you will perform routine tests, inspect components, and help maintain accurate batch records.

The role emphasizes compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements (FDA, cGMP, EPA, OSHA) and collaboration across departments to ensure product quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field required.
• Minimum of one year experience in analytical or quality control laboratory preferred.
• Strong documentation and compliance with SOPs, EPA, OSHA, FDA, and cGMPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC analyses on raw materials, in-process and finished products.
• Conduct routine testing and inspection of parts and weights.
• Maintain QC documentation and batch records (PBRs).
• Assist in experiments and pilot batches for new products.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across the lab.
