Job summary

LG Chem Advanced Materials, Inc. in Clarksville, TN is seeking a Quality Control Chemist to support 24/7 manufacturing quality objectives. The role involves hands-on testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using pH titration, moisture analysis, XRF, ICP-OES, XRD and more.

The position requires rotating 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends, and adherence to SOPs, safety, and regulatory requirements. DOE or experience in battery/material QC preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related science.
• Background in laboratory or manufacturing quality operations preferred.
• Ability to perform repetitive testing and operate analytical instruments.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical, physical, and electrochemical characterization of materials using analytical instruments.
• Analyze data, identify trends and provide recommendations to QC leadership.
• Prepare, review and maintain laboratory records and SOP-compliant data.
• Support calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation.
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and waste.
