Job summary

Corning is seeking a quality inspector to perform dimensional and visual inspections of precision machined components, using micrometers, calipers, depth mics, and optical comparators. This is a full-time role located in Arizona with active safety practices and detailed record-keeping.

Requires a high school diploma or GED and about 1 year of inspection experience. Knowledge of DM R, Keyence, and CMM tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of inspection experience.
• DMR knowledge; basic Keyence and CMM experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality dimensional and visual inspection of precision machined components.
• Verify conformance using micrometers, calipers, depth mics, optical comparators, and other inspection tools.
• Read and interpret production travelers and engineering specifications for conformance.
• Document measurements on inspection history cards and maintain records.
• Load/transport part containers using a forklift or pallet jack.
• Create product discrepant material reports and maintain safety standards.
• Access part processes via computer programs and maintain equipment housekeeping.
