Job summary

Rangam Consultants seeks a Laboratory Technician with 1–3 years in the biotech/pharma sector to support Environmental and Clean Utility microbiological monitoring. Candidates must have GMP experience and aseptic skills, with strong laboratory testing proficiency.

Responsibilities include routine sample testing, data entry, and upkeep of specialized equipment, while adhering to GLP and cGMPs. EEO compliant environment with confidential handling of information.

• Lab experience: relevant to GMP bio/pharma labs.
• Must have GMP experience; aseptic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine microbiological testing in Environmental and Clean Utility programs.
• Conduct sample testing using compendial and non-compendial methods and environmental sampling.
• Document, compute, compile, interpret and enter data.
• Provide results and maintain equipment; update controlled documents.
• Follow safety guidelines, GLP, and cGMPs; maintain training records and logs.

Job Description

*Must have experience working at a GMP facility (bio-tech or pharma regulated industry)*
Job Details:

• Under general supervision, this position will perform routine procedures and testing in support of the Environmental and Clean Utility Microbiological Monitoring programs.
• Specific responsibilities include performing routine laboratory procedures, such as sample testing, compendial (Membrane Filtration and Pour Plate Analysis) and non-compendial test methods and environmental monitoring and sampling (Laser Particle Counter/ Slit-to-Agar Sampler/ Contact Plates).
• Will also be responsible for documenting, computing, compiling, interpreting, reviewing, and entering data.
• Additional responsibilities include providing and communicating results, maintaining/operating specialized equipment, and initiating and/or implementing changes in controlled documents.
• Must learn and comply with safety guidelines, GLP, and cGMPs/CFRs which includes, but is not limited to, the maintenance of training records, laboratory notebooks, written procedures, building monitoring systems and laboratory log books.
