Job summary

Teva Pharmaceuticals in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a lab analyst to perform routine and non-routine chemical testing of commercial, validation and stability samples. You will analyze data, ensure compliance with USP, cGMP, and FDA regulations, and maintain GMP-records while using LIMS and Empower for data handling.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in science (Chemistry preferred) and at least 3 years in a cGMP lab, with strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills to support

• Bachelor’s in science related discipline; Chemistry preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a cGMP laboratory.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine chemical testing of samples per methodology.
• Analyze data against specs and notify management of OOS results.
• Operate analytical instrumentation (HPLC, GC, UV/Vis, KF, FTIR).
• Use LIMS/Empower for data acquisition and processing.
• Maintain equipment and perform peer review of testing.

Our Team, Your Impact

• Perform routine and non-routine chemical testing of commercial, validation and stability samples in accordance to written methodology
• Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses using analytical instrumentation such as HPLC; GC, UV/Vis, KF and FTIR.
• Utilize electronic laboratory information systems such as LIMS and Empower for acquisition and processing of analytical data
• Analyze data against approved specifications, notifying management of any OOS and aberrant results
• Actively participate in root cause problem solving during laboratory investigations, provide input for effective corrective and preventive actions
• Perform routine maintenance on lab equipment as needed
• Perform peer review of laboratory testing, as required

• Create and maintain lab record documentation (notebooks and computer based) according to GMPs

Your Skills And Experience

Any equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

• Bachelor's in science related discipline (Chemistry is preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a cGMP laboratory
