Job summary

Glenroy, Inc. in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, is seeking a QA/Material Tester to ensure all purchased materials and suppliers are properly qualified.

You will perform material testing to support product development, validations and data sheet creation. The role involves laboratory testing of incoming raw materials, WIP and finished products, maintaining equipment, conducting OOS investigations, and assisting with final product release and environmental monitoring to ensure quality across

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Quality or related technical field; equivalent education and work experience accepted.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team.
• Experience in laboratory testing and QA documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Test materials to support product development, validations and product data sheet creation.
• Perform laboratory testing on incoming raw materials, WIP and finished product as required by product specifications.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and notify manager when equipment breaks.
• Perform out-of-specification (OOS) investigations and testing.
• Support operations when NCM is identified; record investigation results and provide disposition guidance for NCM.
• Perform final product release for shipments.
• Administer environmental monitoring testing and analyze and respond to results.
• Maintain laboratory testing equipment in good working order including calibrations, cleaning and maintenance.
• Analyze and approve incoming certificates of analysis from suppliers and address issues accordingly.
• Backup to QC as needed.
