Job summary

The Quality Control Analyst (Lab Analyst) at tsu.edu in St. Paul, MN will perform biological, chemical and physical analyses on materials, in-process and final products, and samples from environmental monitoring programs.

You will operate various lab instruments, enter data into the LIMS, and ensure compliance with SOPs and FDA, GLP, QSR and cGMP standards. The role requires a Bachelor's or Associate degree with 0–2 years of experience; fresh graduates with lab exposure are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with SOPs and FDA, GLP, QSR and cGMP regulations.
• Write exception documents
• Perform audits of lab and manufacturing SOPs.

Work Location: St. Paul, MN (Onsite)

Shift: 1st Shift – 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Required Skill: Bachelor’s or associate degree with 0-2 years of expertise in lab & basic understanding of laboratory instrumentation, Pipetting, Knowledge of cleanroom protocols & procedures. Consider fresh graduate expertise in lab environments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct critical biological, chemical and physical analyses such as raw materials, initial, in-process and final products, and samples collected from environmental monitoring programs at manufacturing facilities, etc.
• Use a variety of laboratory instrumentation and computer systems to collect and record data (such as LIMS system).
• Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with company SOPs and specifications, FDA, GLP, QSR and cGMP regulations.
• Write exception documents
• Perform laboratory and manufacturing audits as required. Audit and update, as required, plant SOPs.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, or Biological Sciences with Analytical Chemistry or Laboratory coursework with 0-2 years' experience. Appropriate additional certifications may be required pursuant to state or federal regulatory requirements.
