Job summary

Nalas is seeking a quality control professional to perform analytical testing and documentation in a controlled environment. You will handle HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer, and titration work, ensuring accurate results and strict adherence to SOPs.

Ideal candidates have hands-on chromatographic experience and a strong eye for detail, with a track record of precise documentation. The role offers growth opportunities within a safety-conscious, ITAR-enabled setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science field and 3+ years of relevant experience, or MS/PhD with at least 1 year of experience.
• Proficiency in Karl Fischer and potentiometric titrations.
• Hands-on experience with HPLC and GC.
• Strong balance skills and accurate weighing techniques.
• Solid documentation practices using lab notebooks, eLN, or LIMS.
• Ability to follow established procedures and test routine samples with precision.

Responsibilities

• Perform qualitative and quantitative testing using HPLC, GC, Karl Fischer, and titrations.
• Maintain precise documentation in notebooks, eLN, or LIMS.
• Follow SOPs and test routine samples with accuracy and precision.
• Support release testing and material testing as needed.

Scope:

At Nalas, Quality Control professionals have opportunities to expand their scope of responsibility. Depending on how your skills evolve, you may advance into senior QC roles or move into leadership positions within the Quality team.

This position requires access to ITAR-controlled technical data and/or EAR-controlled technology. The hiring process for this position will therefore include an export compliance assessment, which will include an assessment of U.S. person status. U.S. persons are defined by 22 CFR 120.62 and 15 CFR 772.1 to include U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, and people with asylee or refugee status.
