Job summary

CSL Behring is seeking a laboratory tester to perform required testing on finished product, intermediates, and in-process samples while maintaining accurate records and adhering to cGMP principles. Training on first shift will occur before transitioning to third shift.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree preferred in related science (Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology) or an Associate’s degree with equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Laboratory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Performs required testing in accordance with CSL/ Compendial methods for analysis of finished product, raw material, water, environmental or in-process samples.
  • Maintains accurate, complete, legible, and concurrent records of work performed and enters results in the laboratory notebook.
  • Follows schedules and meets deadlines.
  • Reviews test data/results for reporting accuracy.
  • Communicates aberrant results to laboratory supervision immediately.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of the LIMS computer system and enters data into the system.
  • Gains awareness of cGMP and maintains compliance with regulations.
  • Follows company and departmental policies.
  • Completes other duties as assigned by Laboratory Management and/or Group Lead.
  • Maintains a clean and safe working area.

Job description

Shift: 10 Hour Off shift

Overview:

Performs required testing (finished product, intermediates, in-process, raw material or environmental) in accordance with CSL /Compendial methods and properly documents test results in appropriate records and LIMS computer system. The employee will train on first shift and migrate to 3rd shift once training is completed.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs required testing in accordance with CSL/ Compendial methods for the analysis of

  • Maintains accurate, complete, legible, and concurrent records of work performed and enters
  • results in the laboratory notebook.
  • Follows schedules and meet deadlines.
  • Reviews test data / results for reporting and documentation accuracy.

The expected wage range for this position at hiring is $24.04/hour - $29.81/hour. Please note this wage range reflects what CSL expects to pay for this position at the listed location as of the time of this posting. Individual base pay for a successful candidate within this range is determined by qualifications, skill level, experience, competencies and other relevant factors.
