Job summary

Terzo Enterprises in Fairburn, GA is seeking general labor to inspect and repair pallets. You will use a hammer, pry bar, and saw to correct quality issues and ensure pallets meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Basic tool knowledge is a plus.
• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and flipping of 75-to-85-pound pallets.

Responsibilities

• Inspect pallets visually for defects and correct defects that do not meet specification criteria.
• Remove damaged boards with a pry bar/hammer.
• Understand pallet specifications and modifications for customers.
• Troubleshoot jams and perform basic maintenance of the quality control station.
• Perform other duties as required.
• May be required to work frequent overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts.

What will you do?

Use a hammer and/or saw to correct quality issues in the assembly pallets. Lifts pallets to examine pallets, removes defective boards, and corrects nail-related issues. Understands pallet specifications and modifications necessary for customers. Responsible for troubleshooting jams, and basic maintenance of the quality control station.

Duties Include:

• Willing to work in a fast-paced/high-volume environment
• Attention to detail & commitment to quality
• Inspect pallets visually for defects including, but not limited to, broken boards and blocks, missing components, nail defects, debris and contamination. Correct defects that do not meet specification criteria.
• Remove damaged boards with a pry bar/hammer.
• Cleans area during and at the end of shift.
• May be required to work frequent overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts.
• Performs other duties as required.
