Job summary

Belimo in Danbury, CT is seeking a Manager of Quality to support the Integrated Management System and oversee Incoming Material Inspection, Warranty Analysis, Shop Floor and Audit Compliance. You will collaborate with Global and Local teams to ensure and enhance the quality of Belimo products.

This role leads the local Quality Organization, drives continuous improvement, and ensures adherence to ISO 9001/14001/45001 while coordinating with regional management; travel may be required to align

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering or related field is required.
• 5–10 years of quality experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage performance reviews.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Establishment of the local Quality Organization.
• Functional and disciplinary leadership of the Quality Department, including setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and fostering team development.
• Implementing global quality, environmental, and occupational safety strategies at the site, and defining local Quality Department objectives in coordination with regional and local management.
• Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and managing corrective actions; facilitating management reviews.
• Updating and communicating legal and regulatory requirements.
• Organizing preventive and reactive quality management, including CAPA.
• Execution of the incoming goods inspection process.
• Internal communication and training on quality principles to foster awareness.
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and executing CI projects.
• Planning, conducting, and following up on internal and external audits.
