Job summary

Medici Brands in New York City is seeking a Third-Party Manufacturing Quality Associate to oversee quality and regulatory compliance for co-manufacturers. You will ensure products meet specs, manage COAs, and support audits and continuous improvement across the external network.

You will translate development needs into manufacturing quality requirements, maintain documentation, and collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and R&D teams.

Qualifications

• Background in Food Science, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Food Safety, or related field.
• Experience in food, beverage, or CPG quality, regulatory, supplier quality, or food safety.
• Working knowledge of FDA, FSMA, GFSI, HACCP, Prop 65.
• Strong organizational skills with documentation and follow-through.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, scaling environment.

Responsibilities

• Support qualification and onboarding of new contract manufacturers against quality and food safety requirements.
• Coordinate collection and review of co-man documentation, certifications, and quality records.
• Support maintenance of onboarding materials and quality agreements.
• Participate in co-man audits, site visits, production trials, and quality meetings.
• Maintain co-man audit schedule and track follow-up actions.
• Track CAPAs and non-conformances and elevate overdue issues.
• Maintain dashboards and scorecards for quality and ops performance.
