Job summary

Safari Circuits, LLC. is seeking a Quality Clerk - Inspector in Otsego, MI to inspect all manufactured products and incoming materials under the supervision of the Quality Supervisor.

The role emphasizes detecting and dispositioning defects and maintaining comprehensive records. The position requires experience in quality inspection, use of calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, AOI systems, and microscopes, with IPC-A-610 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect Safari manufactured products across all production cells and incoming material.
• Identify, disposition and process defective products.
• Document, scan and advance compliant products.
• Maintain electronic and manual records.
• Provide written and verbal feedback on product quality to the manufacturing team.
• Support quality objectives and company goals.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement projects.
• Certify and maintain IPC-A-610 certification.

Job Summary

As a growing business focused on demanding markets, we are always looking for ways to improve our products and quality processes. Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, this position directly inspects all Safari manufactured products and incoming raw material. This position has no direct reports.

Primary Responsibilities

• Product inspection in all functional cells throughout the production floor and incoming inspection
• Identify, disposition and process all defective products
• Document, scan and advance all compliant products
• Maintain records both electronically and manually written
• Work in concert with manufacturing team members to provide written and verbal feedback regarding product quality.
• Support Quality and Company objectives and goals
• Identify and drive continuous improvement and projects
• Quality inspection or related experience
• Experience and inspection instruments such as: calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, automated optical inspection and microscopes are beneficial.
• Basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Read and understand descriptions, reports, regulations, instructions, technical documents, including prints and electronic data
• Certify and maintain an IPC-A-610 certification.
