Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel in Shepherdsville, KY is seeking a Quality Auditor to audit, inspect, and report on the quality and effectiveness of facility processes. We currently have both 1st and 2nd shift available. Join the team in Shepherdsville, KY.

You will perform incoming inspections of vendor materials, ensure process compliance, report issues, place products on quality hold when needed, run quality reports, assist production lines, and train staff on quality programs and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required.
Minimum 1 year in a quality-related role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to read and comprehend written English.
Detail-oriented with accuracy and reliability.

Responsibilities

Perform incoming inspection of vendor-supplied materials and document results.
Ensure compliance with all processes and procedures throughout the operation.
Report vendor issues both internally and externally.
Place product on quality hold when necessary, complete the appropriate reports, and provide information to the Shift QA Lead.
Perform sort and rework projects.
Run and maintain quality reports.
Assist the PACE room and production lines.
Provide training to employees on quality programs, processes, and reporting requirements.
