Job summary

Thai Summit America is seeking a QA - 2nd Shift to identify causes of production variances and support the Press/Assembly departments with data and technical assistance. You will evaluate weld discontinuities, drive internal quality loops with engineering leadership, and perform daily data recording for capability sheets.

Requirements include a high school diploma, 1 year manufacturing experience preferred, SPC training, Excel/Word skills, and familiarity with Datamyte and CM4D tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong SPC training experience and knowledge, plus leadership skills.
• Basic computer skills including MS Excel and MS Word.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform inspections and testing of components and finished products with data usage for improvements.
• Assist in monitoring inspection procedures and develop countermeasures.
• Team problem solve using SPC data from production centers.
• participate in new production launch projects to ensure quality requirements are cascaded.
• Engage in 5S/TPM and data recording for capability sheets.
• Evaluate welds/fasteners and record daily data on shift.
