Job summary

US Farathane is seeking a Quality Auditor to support the Quality System, perform receiving and dock auditing as needed, and conduct in-process inspections to ensure compliance with customer requirements. The role emphasizes adherence to quality manuals and safety policies.

Qualifications include knowledge of quality systems, inspection techniques, and the ability to perform Gage R&R and capability studies.

SUMMARY This position is responsible for supporting the Quality System including auditing of in-process product per instructions as well as all associated documentation and performing the duties of Receiving, Dock Auditing as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform Receiving Inspection and Dock Auditing as needed
  • Perform in-process inspection of product to determine compliance to customer requirements
  • Maintain variable charts per blueprint and/or customer requirements
  • Monitor data received by sub-contractors for compliance to specifications as needed
  • Assist in sort operations as needed
  • Responsible for following all internal and OSHA required safety procedures
  • Adherence to all company policies and procedures (i.e. quality manual, associate's handbooks, level II procedures, etc.)
  • Performs all other duties as requested by the Quality Manager

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Knowledge of quality systems and standards. Knowledge of inspection techniques and simple measurement instrument usage. Capable of performing Gage R&R and capability studies

LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors and other employees of the organization. Ability to work well with others in a team environment Good organizational and communication skills

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to do simple math; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Also, the ability to add positive and negative numbers

REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to handle problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
