Job summary

Akima Global Logistics (AGL) seeks a QA Analyst to support QA Manager and Site Supervisor in ensuring ISO 9001:2015 compliance and Army regulations for equipment turn-in. Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in quality assurance, logistics, or supply operations.
  • Prior military logistics/property accountability experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Army equipment turn-in procedures.
  • ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
  • Army regulations (AR 710-2, AR 735-5, DA PAM 710-2-1).
  • Army logistics IT systems (GCSS-Army).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with proof of vehicle insurance; Real ID; CAC eligibility.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of equipment turn-in processes to verify compliance with Army regulations.
  • Validate that all equipment, components, and BII are properly accounted for prior to turn-in.
  • Review records, condition codes, and supporting documentation for accuracy.
  • Monitor site operations for ISO 9001:2015 QMS compliance.
  • Assist in conducting internal audits of supply and property accountability records.
  • Document findings, prepare quality reports, and submit corrective/preventive action recommendations.
  • Track non-conformance reports until closure.
  • Support government inspections and acceptance during turn-in.
  • Maintain QA documentation, inspection checklists, and audit reports.
  • Verify equipment transactions are documented in Army logistics systems.

Job description

The Quality Assurance Analyst supports the Quality Assurance Manager and Site Supervisor in ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards, contractual requirements, and U.S. Army regulations for equipment turn-in operations. The QA Analyst performs inspections, audits, and data analysis to verify accuracy of records, accountability of equipment, and compliance with Army supply, maintenance, and property accountability procedures. This role helps ensure smooth turn-in operations, proper documentation, and government acceptance of equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections of equipment turn-in processes to verify compliance with Army regulations (e.g., AR 710-2, AR 735-5, DA PAM 710-2-1, and applicable TMs).
  • Validate that all equipment, components, and basic issue items (BII) are properly accounted for prior to turn-in.
  • Review records, condition codes, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor site operations for compliance with ISO 9001:2015 QMS procedures.
  • Assist in conducting internal audits of supply and property accountability records.
  • Document findings, prepare quality reports, and submit recommendations for corrective and preventive actions.
  • Track and follow up on non-conformance reports until closure.
  • Support government inspections and acceptance processes during turn-in.
  • Maintain accurate QA documentation, inspection checklists, and audit reports.
  • Verify that equipment transactions are properly documented in Army logistics systems (e.g., GCSS-Army, LMP).
  • Support accountability of government property by maintaining traceable records of inspections.
  • Identify inefficiencies or risks in the turn-in process and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support the QA Manager in implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance compliance and efficiency.
  • Provide feedback to supervisors and staff on recurring quality issues.
  • Assist in training site personnel on quality procedures, turn-in standards, and documentation requirements.
  • Promote a culture of compliance, accuracy, and accountability across all equipment turn-in functions.
Qualifications
  • Education: Associate’s or bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, Quality Management, or related field (preferred). Equivalent military experience accepted.
  • Experience:
  • 2–4 years of experience in quality assurance, logistics, or supply operations.
  • Prior military logistics/property accountability experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Army equipment turn-in procedures required.
  • ISO 9001:2015 quality standards.
  • Army supply/property accountability regulations (AR 710-2, AR 735-5, DA PAM 710-2-1).
  • Army logistics IT systems (e.g., GCSS-Army).
  • Good communication and teamwork skills to interact with Army officials and contractor personnel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare detailed quality reports.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with proof of vehicle insurance.
  • Must have a real ID.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
  • Must be able to obtain Tier1/ NACI (Public trust) background eligibility.
  • Basic proficiency in the English language (reading and writing).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Must receive a favorable background check and drug testing results.
  • Employees may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands & Working Environment:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform routine standing, walking, bending, and reaching tasks in warehouse and field environments.
  • Must also meet all physical requirements necessary to perform assigned duties, including working in extreme heat or cold, high, or low humidity, blowing sand and dust, confined spaces, heights, and other inclement weather conditions.
  • This position involves working both indoors and outdoors, periodic overtime, and exposure to heat, dust, cold, and adverse weather conditions.
Pay Range

$75,000 - $85,000.00
